BN will continue to play a constructive role to ensure Sabah moves towards progress and prosperity, said Zahid – November 29, 2025

BARISAN Nasional (BN) respects the results of the 17th Sabah State Election (PRN) and expresses its appreciation to all voters who continue to place their trust in the coalition's candidates.

Its chairman, Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, said in a statement that the party described the participation of 596 candidates in this PRN as a reflection of the enrichment of the democratic process in Sabah, as well as proving that the coalition still has a strong support base and remains an important political bloc in the state.

"This result proves that BN still has a strong support base and continues to be one of the important political blocs in the Sabah political landscape.

"As a party that always prioritizes political stability and the well-being of the people, BN is ready to work with like-minded parties to form a new Government," he said.

At the same time, he called on the people of Sabah to maintain peace, unity and respect for the ongoing democratic process.
"The state's journey forward requires commitment from all parties and BN will continue to play a constructive role to ensure Sabah moves towards progress and prosperity," he added. – November 29, 2025
