POLICE in Selangor are continuing their search for several suspects in connection with criminal mischief and threats reported last week in the Taman Kinrara residential area.
Selangor Datuk Police Chief Shazeli Kahar confirmed that law enforcement is actively tracking down the remaining individuals still at large.
“The police are still locating the suspects who remain free. Seven suspects previously taken into custody have since been released on police bail,” he said when contacted.
Investigations are ongoing before the case files are finalised and submitted to the Deputy Public Prosecutor for further action.
The case first drew attention on 16 March, when 12 individuals, including a local woman, were detained to assist with inquiries relating to incidents involving a teacher known as Cikgu Chandra in Taman Kinrara, Puchong.
The suspects, aged between 30 and 40, were apprehended during a coordinated operation conducted by the Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department, the Selangor State Police Investigation Department, and the Serdang District Police Investigation Unit.
Shazeli noted that among those previously detained, seven individuals were directly connected to the incidents under investigation, including the principal planner behind the acts.
Authorities continue to monitor developments closely as the investigation progresses. - March 18, 2026
