Prices of RON97, RON95 and diesel up 10-20 sen for Aug 20-26

Diesel without subsidies will increase to RM4.67 per litre from RM4.47. - August 19, 2026

THE price of RON97 will increase by 10 sen to RM4.25 per litre from RM4.15, while unsubsidised RON95 will rise 15 sen to RM3.77 per litre from RM3.62 from August 20 - 26.

Diesel without subsidies will increase to RM4.67 per litre from RM4.47.

In a statement, the Ministry of Finance said the increases, calculated under the Automatic Pricing Mechanism (APM), reflect higher global crude oil prices amid worsening geopolitical tensions and supply risks.

Eligible recipients will continue to receive subsidised RON95 at RM1.99 per litre through BUDI MADANI RON95 (BUDI95), while subsidised diesel remains available at RM2.10 per litre.

Fuel under the Subsidised Petrol Control System stays at RM2.05 per litre, while diesel under the Subsidised Diesel Control System remains at RM2.15 per litre. - August 19, 2026
