KUALA LUMPUR – Newly minted Selangor Perikatan Nasional state liaison committee chairman (BPN) Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali has urged the coalition’s component parties, leadership and grassroots to form a fresh synergy for the sake of the people's well-being and the country's prosperity.

He said as a collective built on political cooperation, PN wants to advocate “a pure, noble and sincere struggle to uplift the dignity of the people and country”.

“Therefore, PN in Selangor is thoroughly continuing people-oriented policies, spearheading new economic growth and assuring the delivery of services that are efficient for the people under these challenging times,” he said in a statement today.

Azmin said to ensure the efforts succeed, Selangor PN will continue to foster unity and cohesion in the development and advancement of the country.

Yesterday, PN appointed 14 state liaison committee chairmen, including Muhyiddin as Johor BPN chairman, after a meeting with the coalition Supreme Council.

Azmin also today thanked Muhyiddin, who is PN chairman, on appointing him to lead the coalition in Selangor.

“I pledge to undertake the trust and responsibility in working and consolidating all of PN’s strength in Selangor.”
