A MAN was found dead with burns covering nearly 70 per cent of his body beside the Kempas-Pasir Gudang railway line on Thursday.

Seri Alam district police chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Sohaimi Ishak said police received information about the discovery at 4.20pm at a location between kilometre markers 22.50 and 22.75 along the railway line.

He said officers and personnel from the Seri Alam district police headquarters, accompanied by the Johor contingent police headquarters’ Criminal Investigation Department forensic team, were dispatched to the scene to investigate.
