Two employees Covid-19-positive: Bursa Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR – Bursa Malaysia Bhd has confirmed that two members of its staff have tested positive for Covid-19.

“The affected staff members are currently in isolation under home quarantine. The health and well-being of our employees is of utmost priority. All those affected are receiving the appropriate treatment,” the stock exchange said in a statement today.

Bursa Malaysia also assured market participants that operation and trading are unaffected. 

“There is no disruption to our critical and support functions, and our business continuity management plan is in place to ensure the smooth functioning of our operations in the event of such incidents.” – The Vibes, January 8, 2021
