KOTA KINABALU – More than 100 members from the Warisan Women’s wing in the Putatan division, headed by their former chief Noraini Omar, have left the party and handed over their application forms to join Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku (Star)
The handover was held at a hotel in Asia City, Kota Kinabalu, and the forms received by Star secretary-general Datuk Guan Dee Koh Hoi yesterday.
Guan, who is a senator, said STAR welcomed Noraini and her members, adding that the move will only serve to strengthen the party in Putatan. “It is our hope that such membership in Star will be increased in time to come.
“We have many Star Wanita (women) members and we hope to hold an AGM for Star Youth, Wanita and division in March with the Wanita central selection in April or May,” he said.

“With this move, we hope that the strength and welfare of women members in my area Putatan can be strengthened.”
