KOTA KINABALU – Sabah Deputy Chief Minister II Datuk Seri Dr Jeffrey Kitingan has recovered from Covid-19 and was discharged from the hospital today.

Kitingan had been undergoing treatment at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) since Jan 4 after he was tested positive for the virus on Jan 3.

His wife, Datin Seri Cecilia Kitingan was also discharged. Both left the hospital at around 1pm today.

Kitingan who is STAR Sabah’s President said he is grateful for the good job done by the medical frontliners who have been working tirelessly; sacrificing their time and energy in the war against Covid-19.

He thanked the medical team who cared for him and his wife during their two-week stay at the hospital, and his friends, families, supporters and well-wishers for their prayers. – The Vibes, January 16, 2021
