PUTRAJAYA – A warehouse storing glove moulds in Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi, Sepang, was badly damaged in a fire last night.
The Selangor Operation Movement Centre, in a statement, said it received a distress call through the Malaysian Emergency Response Services’ 999 line at 7.12pm, and firefighters arrived at the scene 10 minutes later.
Fire stations at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, Cyberjaya and Serdang deployed 39 personnel.
“The fire destroyed 50% of the warehouse. No fatalities were reported,” said the statement.
