PUTRAJAYA – The Human Resources Ministry has agreed to extend the deferment for Skills Development Fund Corp (PTPK) loan repayments by three months to March 31.
Minister Datuk Seri M. Saravanan, in a statement today, said some borrowers have been hit hard by the Covid-19 pandemic.
They can submit applications for the deferment via the PTPK website, he said.
“This deferment involves loans totalling RM9,516,798.90, and will benefit 72,747 account holders.”
He said the ministry is concerned about the financial difficulties faced by borrowers, especially those who have lost their jobs as a result of the virus crisis and impacted by floods, which have hit several states this monsoon season.
