KUCHING – Individuals with history of travelling to high-risk districts in Sarawak in the past two weeks have been told to undergo Covid-19 screening at their nearest health clinics or private hospitals.
Sarawak Health Director Dr Chin Zin Hing said this involves individuals who have been to the districts of Sri Aman, Betong, Sibu, Kanowit, Dalat, Miri, Beluru, and Sebauh to visit friends and family members or attend weddings or funerals during the period.
“This is because there are many Covid-19 cases detected among residents of longhouses and those experiencing symptoms such as cough, fever, sore throat, loss of smell or taste, or fatigue should go to the nearest health clinic for Covid-19 treatment or screening,” he said in a statement here today. – Bernama, January 26, 2021
