Kuching Water Board shuts customer service counter over Covid-19

KUCHING – The Kuching Water Board (KWB) has closed its customer service and payment counter for two weeks starting today after an employee tested positive for Covid-19.

General manager Rodziah Mohamad, in a statement, said the staffer was last on the KWB premises on January 25, and their close contacts have been ordered to undergo home quarantine pending the results of their swab test.

KWB has conducted sanitisation of the premises in Jalan Batu Lintang.

“We apologise for the inconvenience caused, and thank you for your understanding,” said Rodziah. – Bernama, January 29, 2021
