KUALA LUMPUR – Face-to-face meetings between inmates and their family members are not allowed for Chinese New Year at all prisons nationwide.
The Prisons Department, in a statement, said a prepaid telephone facility will be provided so that those behind bars can be in touch with their loved ones.
“The consideration was made to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
