KUALA LUMPUR – As the country gears up to receive the first batch of the Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine, Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba released a video saying individuals with allergies can be inoculated, with certain conditions.
In the video released on Twitter, he said such individuals are eligible for the vaccine, provided they are not allergic to the content of the shots.

“It is possible as long as the shots do not have the same ingredients as the medicine or food product that causes an allergic reaction.
“Individuals who have had allergic reactions must inform doctors, pharmaceutical officers and nurses on duty of their medical history, their family’s medical history and their allergies.” – The Vibes, February 20, 2021
