KUALA LUMPUR – Gerakan president Datuk Dominic Lau Hoe Chai today launched the party’s retreat to discuss its game plan for the 15th general election (GE15).

He said it is also to gain the trust of the people, and to restore the glory days of the party, which was established in 1968.

“The two-day retreat, which starts today, is important for Gerakan in preparing for GE15,” he told the media after officiating it at Dewan Pulau Pinang, Menara PGRM here today.

The retreat, in which 130 delegates from the party’s Central Working Committee, youth and women’s wings, and state divisions are participating, is being conducted in full compliance with Covid-19 standard operating procedures.

In GE14 held in 2018, Gerakan lost all 11 parliamentary and 31 state seats it contested. – Bernama, March 13, 2021
