KUALA LUMPUR – Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has received his second dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine at 3.16pm today, becoming the first individual in country to complete the dosage.

In the same event, Health Director-General Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah also received his second dose of the same vaccine.

Both had gotten their first dose on February 24, kicking off Malaysia’s National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme.

The immunisation was carried out at a health clinic in Presint 18, Putrajaya.

After getting his second shot, Muhyiddin updated his MySejahtera app to reflect that he has received both doses.

He said those who have completed the vaccination will receive a smart card.

So far, more than 5.6 million people have registered for the Covid-19 vaccination via MySejahtera. – The Vibes, March 17, 2021
