KUALA LUMPUR – The Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) may see a change in leadership soon, people familiar with the matter told The Vibes.

HRDF chairman Datuk Nelson Renganathan is expected to be replaced, said a source, but reasons for the change and just who will be his successor cannot be ascertained at the time of writing.

However, it is understood that the incoming chairman is a retired senior civil servant.

Renganathan was appointed by Human Resources Minister Datuk Seri M. Saravanan on April 1 to replace Datuk Noor Farida Mohd Ariffin, who was removed from the post following the change of government in February.

Aside from his HRDF position, Renganathan is also Regent International School chairman and a former MIC youth chief. – The Vibes, October 5, 2020
