MIRI – Sarawak’s Covid-19 death toll now stands at 99, with two fatalities reported at Sibu Hospital today.
The latest victims are a 71-year-old man and a 69-year-old woman, confirmed the state Disaster Management Committee secretariat in a statement.
“These latest fatalities bring the (state’s) total death toll to 99.
“We extend our condolences to the family of the deceased.”
Sarawak also recorded 140 new infections, with Miri logging 52, Sibu (36), Bintulu (27) and other districts (fewer than 10).
