KUALA LUMPUR – Former deputy prime minister Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail has been receiving treatment at the Universiti Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC) since yesterday.

Her husband, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim confirmed this in a Facebook post today.

“Azizah is receiving treatment at UMMC since yesterday. (She is) Covid-19 negative.

“General checks will continue. Pray for her, God willing,” Anwar said, without stating what was ailing here.

According to a source, Dr Wan Azizah’s condition is stable and not worrying. – Bernama, October 7, 2020
