KUALA LUMPUR – An 81-year-old senior citizen has won cash savings of RM1 million in the Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) Premium Saving Certificate (BSN SSP) Special Draw for February 2021.

This is the second prize won by the father of nine children from the BSN SSP draw, as he took home the first prize of a BMW 318i through the monthly draw in May 2018.

“Until today, he still keeps his savings with BSN SSP, even though he has won attractive rewards – including the RM1 million BSN SSP Special Draw,” said BSN chief executive Jay Khairil in a press release today.

He said as a community bank, BSN will continue to carry the government’s mandate to inculcate a saving culture among the Malaysian people.

Besides the opportunity to snag various prizes, BSN customers also enjoy a profit rate of up to 1.9% per annum by saving under the SSP Special Edition, similar to the fixed rate offered by other lenders.

“Three rewards in one: savings, a chance to win prizes, and an attractive interest rate. So, don’t miss this opportunity, and start saving with BSN SSP today. You may be among the 14 millionaires in BSN SSP 2021,” said Jay.

For the first time this year, the bank will announce 13 winners for its Local Draw, with the prize being a Perodua Myvi 1.5 Auto.

The draw will be held thrice – in February, May and August – and is open to those who save under BSN SSP, with a minimum amount of RM100. – Bernama, April 3, 2021
