Sabah logs 163 new Covid-19 cases; 95 in Tawau alone

KOTA KINABALU – Sabah recorded 163 new Covid-19 cases today, with the highest number of infections coming from Tawau (95 cases).

Lahad Datu registered 25 news cases from existing clusters, while Sandakan recorded 13.

Tawau also logged two new clusters.

Sabah Covid-19 spokesman Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun in a Twitter post said the Covid-19 situation in Kota Kinabalu appears to have stabilised, with the district logging only seven new cases.  

He also added: “No truth to the rumours that the movement control order will be imposed on Kota Kinabalu.” – The Vibes, April 17, 2021.
