KLANG – A total of 36,000 senior citizens and persons with disabilities (PwD) will be getting their shots under Phase 2 of the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme, according to Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk Seri Rina Harun.
She said they comprise 25,000 elderly folk and 11,000 PwD.
“We will also intensify efforts to register the target groups for vaccination as some of them lack knowledge on how to register.”
The Wanita Perikatan Nasional chief, however, said the target groups must sign up via the MySejahtera application.
Phase 2 will kick off tomorrow in eight states – Kedah, Melaka, Penang, Pahang, Sabah, Sarawak, Terengganu and Labuan. – Bernama, April 18, 2021
