KUALA LUMPUR – Majlis Amanah Rakyat (Mara) said it takes sexual harassment allegations involving a Mara Junior Science College student seriously, and has begun an internal investigation into the matter.
Mara chairman Datuk Azizah Mohd Dun in a statement today said the agency will not compromise with any employee involved in wrongdoing, especially if it involves the safety of students.
“Action will be taken against those found to be involved. (This is to) ensure a conducive and safe learning environment that is free from sexual harassment and the exploitation of women and children.
“Mara will cooperate fully with the authorities to ensure the image and credibility of its education institutes are preserved.” – Bernama, April 22, 2021
