KUALA LUMPUR – Some 32 individuals have been detained, including four civil servants and eight non-citizens, for attending a private party.
Dang Wangi police raided the gathering held at a luxury hotel here early this morning.
According to a brief police statement, the raid was carried out at 2am today on two hotel rooms in Jalan Pinang here by personnel from the narcotics and criminal departments.
Twenty of the arrested individuals were issued compounds, while an investigation paper has been opened on the civil servants and non-citizens under the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Act 1988 (Act 342) for violating movement control order standard operating procedures.
