KUALA LUMPUR – The Inland Revenue Board’s (IRB) government special assistance (BKK) counters are open from today to handle Bantuan Prihatin Rakyat (BPR) appeals.
In a statement, the tax body said the counters are open from 8am to 12pm on workdays, and will serve the public only on an appointment basis.
“It is also limited to low-risk customers based on the MySejahtera application. Customers must comply with the standard operating procedures, such as scanning the MySejahtera app, wearing a mask, recording their body temperature and maintaining physical distancing.”
BPR-related inquiries can be directed to the BKK line at 1800-88-2747, which is open from 9am to 4pm, from Monday to Friday.
IRB’s Hasil Care Line (Call Centre and Live Chat) services will operate as usual from 9am to 5pm, from Monday to Friday, but the lines to the agency’s headquarters and branches are closed. – Bernama, June 15, 2021
