PUTRAJAYA – The opening of a vaccination centre (PPV) catering to persons with disabilities (PwDs) at Pusat Latihan Perindustrian dan Pemulihan Bangi, initially scheduled for Monday, has been postponed due to Covid-19 infections in the area.

The Social Welfare Department, in a statement today, said the decision was made following discussions with the district health office.

The new opening date will be announced later, it said.

Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk Seri Rina Mohd Harun was yesterday reported as saying the PPV’s opening would be expedited to serve PwDs. – Bernama, June 19, 2021
