KUALA LUMPUR – The collapse of a concrete slab located at the NKVE Sg Buloh-Kota Damansara highway at around 7pm today, has resulted in two injuries.

According to the Fire and Rescue Department, two Bangladeshi men suffered injuries as a result of flying concrete debris.

It is understood the victims were aged between 20- and 40-years-old.

These workers were performing their tasks underneath the concrete slab when the incident occurred.

They have been brought to the Sg Buloh Hospital for treatment.

When rescue personnel arrived on site, they found concrete rubble and steel structures on the highway construction site. 

They acted swiftly providing first aid to the victims and ensured the Bangladeshi men were in a safe condition until Health Ministry personnel arrived at the incident location. – The Vibes, June 19, 2021
