SEREMBAN – The Negri Sembilan government proposed that factories with positive Covid-19 cases detected should be closed for 14 days to ensure industrial clusters in the state are brought under control..
Negri Sembilan Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun said the proposal has been submitted to enforcement agencies to reduce the number of infections in the state.
"We are requesting that the relevant parties consider the proposal and take further action so that the industrial clusters can be brought under control to break the pandemic chain,” he said in an online press conference after chairing the weekly state executive council meeting today.
Meanwhile, Aminuddin said the Paroi Youth and Sports Complex and Universiti Teknologi Mara Rembau have been converted into vaccination centres and will open next Monday.
