KUALA LUMPUR – After teasing the nation with an exposé concerning suspicious activities involving Malaysian public figures in Gaza, rap artiste-cum-activist Caprice has removed his Instagram post concerning the matter.
Over the past week, an ongoing feud went viral on social media after the rapper questioned certain practices of ustaz Ebit Lew in the war-torn Palestinian region.
In some of these Instagram postings, Caprice questioned why a photograph of Ebit giving a toy to a Palestinian girl was taken twice – in other words, questioning the sincerity of Ebit in being charitable in that if Ebit was genuine in his purpose, he would not need to pose twice for the photograph.
He went further to point out that Ebit’s matter was not the biggest story involving Malaysian humanitarian presence in Gaza as there may be political forces involved.
Caprice said that these matters would be exposed in an Instagram Live event on Wednesday.
The rapper, who is in Egypt, said he will be recording the event in a “safe location” and he may not be able to return to Malaysia after making the announcement.

Additionally, Caprice uploaded a post on Instagram seeking forgiveness from Johor Crown Prince Tunku Ismail Idris Sultan Ibrahim, Senior Minister (Security) Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein, Ebit, and Baling MP Datuk Seri Abdul Azeez Rahim.
He also apologised to his parents and Malaysians, as well as promised to return home after fulfilling promises he made to Palestinians.
“Last but not least, I apologise to you, my parents for making you worry about my safety.
“I love you and my intention to go (to Palestine) on my own at 16 was only to make you proud.
“I also apologise to Malaysians, and God willing I will return after I complete and fulfil a few promises I made to the people of Palestine,” Caprice said in his Instagram post. – The Vibes, July 19, 2021
