PETALING JAYA – Content creator and independent preacher Ebit Irawan Ibrahim Lew is addressing the slew of allegations made against him by lodging a police report.

More popularly known as Ebit Lew, he was in the Middle East when a podcast was released online of an Indonesian influencer, known as “Mondy Tattoo”, being interviewed by local rapper Caprice.

The podcast saw Mondy making various allegations about a well-known Malaysian preacher whom she claimed had touched her hands and cheeks.

In a Twitter post early this morning, Lew shared a photo of himself holding a copy of a police report at the USJ 8 police station.

“Bismillah. Just arrived from Jeddah at midnight, and I immediately went to the police station to lodge a report against the extreme and unfounded slander made against me.

“I leave it to police to investigate and take action,” he posted.

He added that he is also leaving the matter to his lawyer for further action.

Mondy had previously made headlines when Lew offered her assistance, as he claimed she had been living on the streets.

With her face and body covered in tattoos, it was said at the time that she had changed and started wearing the hijab.

However, it was later revealed that she had removed her hijab and appeared in the podcast with Caprice last week, where she detailed her side of the story when Lew had helped her.

While many had slammed Caprice for the interview, accusing him of paying Mondy and having her falsify the allegations, the rapper said prior to releasing the podcast, they had first lodged a police report.

He also said Mondy had undergone a psychiatric evaluation at a hospital. – The Vibes, September 18, 2023
