KUALA LUMPUR – Ketereh MP Tan Sri Annuar Musa faced yet another wave of criticism from netizens, who claimed that the Umno man has flouted Covid-19 standard operating procedures, again.
The former Federal Territories minister, in a now-deleted tweet, shared a photo of him buying nasi berlauk – a Kelantanese dish – at a food stall this morning.
However, despite being in public, he was not wearing a mask.
Annuar was born in Kelantan and his parliamentary constituency is in the state.

The former Barisan Nasional secretary-general also mentioned that the vendor does not have a licence, but urged authorities to not take action.
“Finally, some long-awaited good news this morning... I found a stall selling nasi berlauk air dingin near my house in Kuala Lumpur. Not only that, they also have nasi tumpang and lompat tikam!” he said, naming other Kelantanese delicacies.
“The vendor does not have a licence, please Kuala Lumpur City Hall do not take action, then there will be no supply.”
However, netizens did not share his enthusiasm and slammed him for not wearing a face mask.
Twitter user @KyaryHime tweeted: “Where is your mask? We normal people cannot do this without facing a fine or jail term. Do you understand how angry we get? What are you trying to tell us?”
Dah laa tak bermask, salah guna kuasa lagi arahkan DBKL... sepatut nya nasihatkan atau bantu sipenjual mendapat lesen

@amvanhuizen goes one step further, saying Annuar should not abuse his powers.
“You are not wearing a mask, and then you abuse powers by giving orders to DBKL. You should actually advise the vendor or help him obtain a licence,” he tweeted.
However, one netizen did point out that Annuar might have been jogging, but said the latter should still bring a face mask and put it on once he stops exercising.
TS, brisk walk ke jogging ke tolong la bawa mask.

Lepas buat xtvt kalau singgah kedai, warung, kena la pakai mask.
Yea tahu Wilayah dah Herd Immunity, tapi kita belum menang tau.
Jangan jadi Penyebar virus TS. Dah besar kan, patut lebih faham.
“Obviously, his excuse is going to be that he was jogging. When I go jogging, I bring a mask, but when I run, I take it off. Or if I stop by a shop, I put it on,” said @mohdhlmmnf.
Meanwhile, @AshhoAsh said: “TS, brisk (walking) or jogging, please bring a mask. After exercising, if you visit a shop, wear the mask.
“I know Wilayah has herd immunity, but we have not won. Do not be a virus spreader, TS. You are an adult who should know better.” – The Vibes, August 19, 2021
