KUCHING – Police are awaiting the full autopsy reports of the four Royal Malaysian Air Force personnel who were killed in a shooting incident at the Handau Squadron 330 camp in Kota Samarahan on August 13.

Sarawak police commissioner Datuk Aidi Ismail in a statement today said autopsies have been conducted and the remains handed over to the victims’ next of kin.

“Case evidence, including DNA samples, firearms and bullet casings, has been sent to the Chemistry and Forensics Department for scientific analysis.”

Aidi said the seized mobile phones belonging to the victims have also been sent for analysis to identify the cause and motive of the incident, which is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code.

The shooting happened at 7.15am on August 13, and involved four on-duty personnel at a unit in Kota Samarahan.

The victims are Ho Swee Boon, Nesly anak Nabau, Mohamad Ehsan Sehamat and Sharif Mohd Siddiq Al-Attas Wan Sabli. – Bernama, August 24, 2021
