KUALA LUMPUR – A notice with bad English posted at Taman Rimba Kerinchi was not the work of Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL), but a security company.
Photographs of the notice were widely shared on social media, with netizens pointing out its bad grammar and attributing the notice to DBKL, which administers the park.
“Attention to all dearest visitors, please do not asking us as security about vaccine, it is because we have completed our close.
“Perhaps, you don't have any right to ask about it except if you guys wear an uniform. Thank you for your coorperation,” the notice read.'
Taking to Facebook, DBKL said it swiftly removed the notice as it provided less than accurate information concerning Covid-19 standard operating procedures.
DBKL said in a statement that the notice was put up by a security company in Taman Rimba Kerinchi.
“DBKL personnel took swift action by removing a notice placed by a security company in Taman Rimba Kerinchi concerning less than accurate SOPs.
“The security company has been reprimanded by DBKL.
“Visitors are advised to constantly follow SOPs set by the National Security Council.” – The Vibes, September 7, 2021
