5 Sabah areas, 1 in Pahang under EMCO from Saturday

KUALA LUMPUR – Six localities – five in Sabah and one in Pahang – will come under the enhanced movement control order (EMCO) from Saturday to September 24, said National Security Council director-general Datuk Rodzi Md Saad.

In a statement today, he said the affected areas in Sabah are Kg Lembah Permai and Kg Desa Aman in Ranau; Henry Gurney School in Keningau; Taman Sg Labuk in Beluran; and, Kg Timug in Kudat. 

The locality in Pahang is Kg Kuala Koyan, Lipis. 

Rodzi said the EMCO in several areas in Dungun, Terengganu, slated to end tomorrow has been extended to September 24.

The localities are Bandar Paka, Gong Gemia, Cacar Baru, Limbong, Kuala Paka, Taman Indah Permai and Telaga Mas. 

Meanwhile, the same order imposed on three areas in Sabah – Kg Sg Imam in Tawau, Kg Kapakaan in Keningau and Kg Paris 3 in Kinabatangan – will be lifted according to schedule. – Bernama, September 9, 2021
