Supply resumes to 6 Shah Alam areas hit by water cut

KUALA LUMPUR – Water supply in six areas of Shah Alam, Selangor, affected by an unscheduled disruption due to a burst pipe at Persiaran Perusahaan in Seksyen 23 resumed in stages starting 6.15am today.

Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd corporate communications head Elina Baseri in a statement said repairs on the pipe were completed at 6am.

“Water supply to the six affected areas is expected to be fully restored by 12pm today.”

The areas hit by the disruption, which began at 10pm yesterday, are Seksyen 18, Seksyen 19, Seksyen 20, Seksyen 23, Seksyen 24 and Seksyen 25. – Bernama, September 24, 2021
