KUALA LUMPUR – Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob has instructed the cabinet to announce the “100-Day Keluarga Malaysia Aspirations’ Achievement Report Card” to the public, to allow the rakyat to assess the performance of ministers and their ministries.

In a statement today, the prime minister said he held sessions with all 31 cabinet members on September 24 and 29 to finalise their lists of proposed aspirations.

“The government places the achievement of these aspirations by every cabinet member as the highest priority to provide the best services to the people.”

He said a cabinet meeting on September 10 decided that the 100 days would begin on September 1.

The implementation of initiatives for each aspiration is based on six key thrusts, said Ismail Sabri.

They are restructuring the economy, assuring national safety and security, boosting social well-being, improving overall infrastructure, strengthening unity based on the Keluarga Malaysia model, and consolidating service delivery.

To this end, said the prime minister, the chief secretary to the government’s office, Malaysian Administrative Modernisation and Planning Unit, and Shared Prosperity Delivery Unit will act as coordinators to ensure that the planning, implementation, monitoring and improvement of each aspiration is done with excellence.

“The performance of each cabinet member will be evaluated based on three main elements, namely a ministry/department performance evaluation, a leadership evaluation based on the effectiveness of the initiative, and a public perception evaluation of cabinet members and the ministries/departments under their purview.” – The Vibes, September 30, 2021
