KUALA LUMPUR – Johor and Terengganu will shift to Phase 4 from Phase 3 of the National Recovery Plan (NRP) starting October 25, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob in a statement today.

The prime minister said that the Health Ministry, National Security Council (NSC) and the Special Committee on Covid-19 Management have come to the decision after conducting risk assessments on those states.

“The standard operating procedures (SOPs) for these states entering Phase 4 will be the same as before. The latest SOPs are updated on the NSC website,” said Ismail Sabri.

Currently, the other Phase 4 states are Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, Pahang, Negri Sembilan, Melaka and Labuan.

On the other hand, Penang, Perlis, Perak, Kelantan, Kedah, Sabah and Sarawak are still under Phase 3.

There are no states under Phase 1 or 2 of the NRP. – The Vibes, October 22, 2021
