KUALA LUMPUR – Johor Crown Prince Tunku Ismail Idris Sultan Ibrahim is believed to have been infected with Covid-19 following uploads he made on social media today.

The royal uploaded four posts on his Instagram stories today, with the first at around 2pm showing a selfie of himself lying on a hospital bed with the caption “few days ago”.

Around an hour later, he uploaded another post with the caption “two weeks of Covid”.

This was followed by an explanation that he experienced a few weeks of physical and psychological “down time”, and thanked his followers for their well wishes.

Tunku Ismail’s last post at around 6pm featured a photo of himself with the caption “The Tiger is Back!”.

His social media followers welcomed his last post, with many wishing the crown prince well.

“I hope TMJ will be blessed with continuous good health so that he continues leading Johor and inspire other citizens as well," Instagram user kamIkaze_vlc commented.

“May God continue protecting Tunku always. Get well soon Tunku, the people need you,” amirabidinbashir commented.

“Praise God. I am from Terengganu, praying for the continued good health of Tunku, amin,” modikhsanll said. – The Vibes, October 22, 2021
