KUALA LUMPUR –Datuk Azis Jamman (Sepanggar-Warisan) has been called in for questioning by police, allegedly over his parliamentary statements linked to secession.
A WhatsApp invitation was made in a Warisan groupchat calling the media for a press conference over the matter at 3.15pm today at the Parliament media gallery.
A source from the party noted that Azis has been contacted by Bukit Aman’s Criminal Division over his speech on the Malaysia Agreement 1963.
“He has already given his statement and now the press conference had been called for him to explain what has happened,” he said.
According to the party source, Azis had been questioned over his alleged call to secede, which he has denied, clarifying it as a call for independence.
