KUALA LUMPUR – Four mega vaccination centres in Klang Valley will be open for booster jab walk-ins tomorrow for Malaysians aged 18 and above.

The PPVs are:

- World Trade Centre, Kuala Lumpur

- Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil

- Ideal Convention Centre, Shah Alam

- Soka Gakkai Hall, Klang

In a statement, the Health Ministry said these PPVs will be given the AstraZeneca vaccine, however, Pfizer jabs will be made available for selected individuals.

They include pregnant women with prior appointments or those with contraindications towards the AstraZeneca vaccine.

The ministry also said that those intending to walk in for their booster jabs must ensure that their MySejahtera digital vaccination certificate is complete.

Previously, appointments for booster shots were given out via the MySejahtera app, with recipients being allowed to call the clinics in advance to receive their jabs earlier.

Malaysia began giving out Covid-19 booster shots last October and has since seen more than 11 million doses administered. – The Vibes, January 26, 2022
