“Sorry to ask, @KFCmalaysia, are all your outlets experiencing chicken shortages?
“I’ve searched everywhere for KFC chicken, and it seems like I am the only one who is aware of this shortage,” @ShikinNoh tweeted.
KFC replied to the tweet explaining that their company is affected by supply chain disruptions caused by the global pandemic.
They also added that this unexpected situation has caused certain items in their menu to be out of stock in the meantime.
“We are sad to announce that due to supply chain disruptions caused by the pandemic, KFC is also affected.
“This unexpected situation has resulted in items on our main menu being out of stock.
“We are working hard to find alternative solutions,” KFC’s tweet read.
The Vibes has contacted KFC’s parent company QSR Brands Sdn Bhd to determine if all outlets are experiencing shortages, but has yet to receive a reply. – The Vibes, March 9, 2022
