KUALA LUMPUR – Last night was certainly one to remember for a Rohingya man who was forced to get the aid of the Fire and Rescue Department after he got his penis stuck in a ring.

The department said personnel from the Pandan Indah station received a distress call at 9.20pm yesterday from Ampang Hospital requesting for a “special service” to remove a ring from the genitalia of the 26-year-old individual.

They were immediately mobilised to the hospital’s emergency department where the victim was admitted to, arriving at the location at 9.23pm.

“Fire and rescue personnel successfully cut and removed the ring by using special equipment, before the victim was handed over to the hospital for further action.

“After finding the situation to be safe, the personnel left to return to the station,” the department said in a statement today.

The statement, however, did not elaborate how the man got the ring stuck to his private part.

The rescue operation was led and supervised by Senior Fire Officer II Marzu Abdullah. – The Vibes, May 9, 2022
