KUALA LUMPUR – Sabah displayed stability and maintained green zones before the change in state government, Semporna MP Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal told the Dewan Rakyat.

He was referring to the state election in September that saw him and Warisan pushed out of government.

During this time, the state witnessed a surge in Covid-19 cases.

“What we have in our legal system is already there. If there hadn’t been any interference from the current government, Sabah would already be the most controlled state, with the most green zones,” he said.

He was replying to a question by Datuk Mohamad Alamin (BN-Kimanis), who asked if Shafie regretted the dissolution of the state assembly.

Shafie requested the dissolution from the Sabah governor after Tan Sri Musa Aman’s attempt to seize power in the state. – The Vibes, November 16, 2020
