KUALA LUMPUR – The wife of Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Parliament and Law) Datuk Seri Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar, Datin Seri Feona Sim @ Norjanah passed away at 6pm today.

The 70-year-old had passed away at Borneo Medical Centre in Kuching, Sarawak due to internal bleeding.

The minister’s office informed The Vibes’ sister portal Getaran that Feona will be brought back to Wan Junaidi’s residence tonight.

“Funerary prayers will be conducted at 9am, tomorrow, May 28, 2022.

“She will be buried at Tanah Perkuburan Samariang at 10am tomorrow,” said the unnamed officer.

Sarawak Premier Tan Sri Abang Johari Openg is expected to attend the prayers tomorrow.

The late Sim tied the knot with Wan Junaidi in 1972 at Rumah Sarawak, which was the residence of the late Tun Patinggi Abdul Rahman Ya’kub, who was the deceased’s godfather.

Their marriage resulted in three children: 49-year-old Embok Fariah, 38-year-old Sharifah Nong-Jasima, and 29-year-old Sharifah Nuril Barieyah. – Getaran, May 27, 2022
