[UPDATED] 1,472 new Covid-19 cases, 3 deaths

PUTRAJAYA – Malaysia today recorded 1,472 new Covid-19 cases and three deaths, said the Health Ministry.

The new infections bring the country's cumulative cases to 67,169 while the death toll inches up to 363 cases.

Currently, five of the new daily cases are imported while the rest are local transmissions.

The ministry added there are 1,552 new recoveries.

Meanwhile, 120 patients are in intensive care, with 44 requiring intubation.

Selangor continues to record the most daily cases at 891, 795 of which are from existing clusters.

This is followed by Sabah with 267 cases, 33 of which are from new clusters called View Kolombong and Talang-Talang.

Negri Sembilan has 146 new cases, followed by Johor (68), Penang (29), Kuala Lumpur (26), Kedah (21), Perak (13), Kelantan (10) and Sarawak (1). – The Vibes, December 1, 2020
