KUALA LUMPUR – Proviton STR, a leading isotonic drink brand from Duopharma Biotech Berhad has signed on as the new official partner for the Malaysian Football League (MFL) in the Isotonic category.

The agreement is part of a two-year MFL sponsorship by Duopharma Biotech, from January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2023.

The sponsorship will cover the Sumbangsih Cup, Super League and Malaysia Cup competitions in 2022 and 2023 respectively.

Duopharma Consumer Healthcare Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Shamsul Idham Ahad said the sponsorship was a momentous partnership for the company.

“As a proudly Malaysian company, we are delighted to have this opportunity to support Malaysia’s biggest national-level football events through Proviton STR, an innovative new effervescent drink range specially formulated to improve sporting performance with a pre-workout variant and to aid in recovery with a post-sports variant.

"Sports, fitness and wellness are very important to us as a pharmaceutical business and an employer. We want to optimise the MFL platform to connect with Malaysian football fans to promote activities that enhance fitness and wellness,” he remarked.

As an official partner, Proviton STR merchandise and promotional collaterals can be produced by Duopharma Biotech.

The sports drink producer is also able to organise meet and greet events with the footballers, receive signed merchandise and perform activation for other supplement and vitamin products at local physical matches.

“At MFL, we’re always ready to welcome collaborative opportunities with organisations that are keen to support Malaysian sports and a healthier community.

Football reaches out far and wide to all Malaysians, and we believe the partnership with Duopharma Biotech and its innovative brands like Proviton STR benefits Malaysian’s wellbeing too.

“On behalf of our President, Dato’ Ab Ghani Hassan, the Board of Directors and all at MFL warmly welcome Proviton STR on board. We look forward to strengthening our relationship across the coming months,” said Stuart Ramalingam, Chief Executive Officer, Malaysian Football League. – The Vibes, February 25, 2022
