THIS time, we take a quick look at Infineon Technologies’ announcement that it would invest nearly RM25 billion to build a silicon carbide power fabrication plant in Malaysia – which Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim says was down to the prime minister quelling the fears of an executive at the German semiconductor giant over the nation’s political stability and the rise of extremism.

Meanwhile, a viral clip of an elderly woman labelling Umno as “infidels” has seen PAS being told to correct such views among its grassroots, and PKR’s Adam Adli Abd Halim notes that the youth vote will again rise during Saturday’s polls. – The Vibes, August 7, 2023
