SHAH ALAM – The Selangor Development Corporation (PKNS) is targeting to sell 27 housing units worth RM17.2 million during its 48-Hour Must Buy Year End 2020 campaign on December 19 and 20.
Launched today, the campaign covers 25 property projects in the state and offers discounts of up to 20%.
PKNS chief operating officer Suhaimi Kasdon said the promotion is expected to boost property sales amid the new normal.
“The promotion campaign, the seventh in the 48-Hour Must Buy series and the last for this year, is aimed at getting more buyers to make appointments to see PKNS sales executives to choose their dream homes.
“It is quite special as PKNS is including three new housing projects, namely Puteri Aira in Kota Puteri Rawang, Saira in Port Klang and Aurora Residence in Cyberjaya for sale,” he told a media briefing today.
Suhaimi said the legal fees for the sale and purchase agreement and the memorandum of transfer (MoT) stamp duty will be exempted, and interior decoration packages and "smart home" vouchers worth more than RM15,000 are on offer.
Potential buyers can choose from a wide range of property types, as the 25 projects include, among others, two-storey semi-detached houses, exclusive apartments as well as three-storey semi-detached houses priced from RM440,000 up to RM900,000.
Interested buyers can make appointments by visiting PKNS’s official website or contacting 03-50220188 for the central region, 03-50220189 (northern region) and 03-50220187 (southern region).
He said all buying and booking transactions will be done online due to the Covid-19 situation.
On the previous six 48-Hour Must Buy campaigns held between November last year and this September, he said they were considered a success, achieving RM58.6 million in sales.
On the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on PKNS projects, Suhaimi said property sales have not been much affected compared with last year and, in fact, construction on new projects is going on as usual in compliance with standard operating procedures set by the government.
He said PKNS is committed to meeting its target of selling 851 property units next year, with a sales value of almost RM500 million. – Bernama, December 16, 2020
