WORLD Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur Group (WTCKL) Managing Director Datuk Seri Dr Irmohizam Ibrahim, has been conferred the Malaysia Outstanding Business Icon Excellence Award 2025.
The prestigious accolade was presented during the Malaysia Economic Forum 2025, held yesterday at the Berjaya Times Square Hotel in Kuala Lumpur.
The award was presented by YAM Tunku Dato’ Seri Utama Naquiyuddin ibni Almarhum Tuanku Ja’afar in recognition of Dato’ Sri Dr Irmohizam’s exemplary leadership and contributions to Malaysia’s Business Events (BE) industry.
Jointly organised by the Economic Club of Kuala Lumpur (ECKL) and the KSI Strategic Institute for Asia Pacific (KSI), the Malaysia Economic Forum 2025 carried the theme “Navigating the Future: Pioneering Economic Resilience and Green Prosperity”.
The forum brought together leading figures from government, business and academia to explore Malaysia’s economic trajectory amidst global uncertainties.
The Malaysia Outstanding Business Icon Excellence Award 2025 celebrates top-tier CEOs, C-suite executives and business leaders who exhibit distinguished business acumen and success. The accolade also highlights the strategic role of the Business Events sector in driving Malaysia’s global business recognition, encouraging a culture of leadership, innovation and opportunity.
Irmohizam, who is also Board Director of the World Trade Centers Association (WTCA), was honoured for his visionary stewardship in elevating innovation and excellence across the BE landscape in Malaysia.
