KUALA LUMPUR – Datuk Seri Mohd Redzuan Md Yusof has resigned from his position as independent non-executive chairman of Boustead Holdings Bhd to pursue other interests effective today.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Boustead said Redzuan, 65, was appointed on January 3, 2022 and prior to that, he served as entrepreneur development and cooperatives minister from 2018 to 2020 and later as minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (special functions) from 2020 to 2021.
Redzuan holds a bachelor of science (honours) degree in civil engineering from the University of Leeds, United Kingdom and began his illustrious career as an engineer with Esso Malaysia Sdn Bhd and later served in Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd.
Boustead also announced the resignation of independent and non-executive director Datuk Nonee Ashirin Mohd Radzi and non-independent and non-executive director senator Datuk Seri Zurainah Musa, 61, effective today.
Nonee Ashirin, 51, is also a chairman of Global Turbine Asia Sdn Bhd. – Bernama, January 10, 2023
